Mommy gets a Time Out!

Mason just gave me a time out. He threw his shoes at me and hit me in the head, so I gave him a time out. He came back and I told him not to throw his shoes because it hurt me. I then dropped his shoes onto the floor, and they landed on Thomas. Mason said "mommy! No throw shoes at Thomas. I give mommy a time-out. . .one two three ten. . . say sorry mommy!" I said sorry and he said "okay I love you very much!" A few minutes ago the dryer buzzed and Mason said "time to eat!" I didn't know what he was talking about until he went upstairs and told me to open the oven and get dinner.

Mason Stories

* the other day Mason was playing trains and I said that we needed to go to the grocery store. Mason looked up at me and asked "mommy, we go to Walmart and buy me Diesel 10?" Diesel 10 is one of the very few trains he doesn't have yet. * that same day we were downstairs and Myles started crying in his crib upstairs. Mason ran to the stairs and put out his arms so I couldn't pass him and said "Don't worry mommy, I get him. You go back to sleep."

Juice Smile

We've discovered that the Walmart brand of juice stains Mason's face a lot more than normal Crystal Light. This stain didn't come off for days!

Camping and Fishing

After we got back from the Thomas trip, Mason packed to go camping and fishing with his grandpa Delta. Here he is with his cute Thomas backpack.

Day Out with Thomas

Image
Yesterday we went with Mason and his cousins to the Day Out with Thomas at the Heber Valley Railroad. Mason was wide-eyed the whole time and couldn't believe he actually got to ride on Thomas. In addition to train rides, they had a petting zoo, temporary tattoos, train tables, a maze, magic shows, characters, coloring, stamping, stickers, and probably more. The picture with the station man is so funny because Mason was bawling. We had been playing with the train tables and all the Thomas trains were being used by other kids and he was so upset. We tried to distract him by getting his picture taken, but he was so upset!

Mason & Myles

Image
Mason is always wanting me to put Myles in his "big-boy bed" with him. Yesterday I put Myles down on Mason's bed while I got Mason dressed. I had to run downstairs to the laundry room and when I got down there I realized that I left Mason and Myles alone together--not a good idea. As I was coming down the hallway I said "Mason what are you doing?" and he replied "talking to my baby brother." Sure enough, Mason was talking to Myles about Thomas and Myles was captivated.

Pictures of the Boys Together

My neighbor, Michele Reyes, started a photography business in her home and took these pictures. I think they are absolutely amazing. Her website is michelereyes.com . Here are some pictures she took of both boys together (they weren't very cooperative), and then below are pictures of Mason and Myles seperately.
