Just a few more stories to remember. . .

* yesterday Marshall and Myles were sick and Mason had a cough, so we decided to take a sick day from church. When I told Mason we weren't going he said "but mom, church is very important." Later he said " mom, if we don't go to church, will our home teachers still come?" * Saturday morning at 3 AM when I was carrying Myles into the ER for his ear infection he was really worried about seeing the doctor. Then he perked up and said " oh I know, this is the kind of doctor that just talks to people to make them feel better!" That is what we tell him about the kind of doctor I am (the kind that just talks to people to make them feel better and doesn't give them shots). * yesterday Myles and Mason were pretending to sword fight and Myles all of a sudden said "I will beat you, because Heavenly Father is on my side!" This comes from FHE last week when we taught them about David and Goliath and said that even though David was smaller, he ...

Thanksgiving

I don't know why I didn't take any pictures, but we had a fun Thanksgiving holiday. On Thursday we played in the morning, then headed down to Santaquin for dinner at Marshall's brother's house. We had a great time with family and the food was AMAZING! Then Thursday night/Friday morning I was crazy and went Black F riday shopping. I went to Walmart at midnight and got trampled getting a Lego set for Mason (regularly $50 for $15) and some pajamas. I then went to Mod Bod and got some shirts for $5, and then I attempted to go to Toys R Us and Old Navy but couldn't get in the door. The plan was for Marshall to get up at 5 and go to Staples to get a new laser printer (ours broke) but when I got home I looked online and they already had the printer for sale online with free shipping! So we ordered that and a few other things from Walmart that I didn't risk my life to get when I was there and then I could sleep in in the morning. Next year Black Friday doorbusters ...

Just a few stories. . .

I feel like I don't have much to put on the blog lately, but here are a few little things I'll want to remember: * Max loves to steal daddy's hat and then puts it on and toddles around the house saying "I da-da" and thinks he is so funny. * Mason and Myles are convinced that grandpa Goates is one of Santa's helpers. It is a long story how this came about, but whenever we watch a movie with elves, Mason says "I know Grandpa is one of those elves." * In church a few weeks ago Mason piped up during the sacrament "I can't wait to go to Heaven because I'll get to meet Spiderman!" * For Christmas, Mason wants screature and Myles wants a gun to shoot screature. At first he wanted screature too, but when we showed it to him in the store it bit his finger and Myles was terrified and said he wanted to go look at the "erf guns like at Mallory's house." I love my kids!

Jesus, Elmo, the DS, Pirates, Grandpa Goates, Grandma Delta, Heavenly Father, Chicken, and Mommy. Such a great kid--he came up with these all on his own. No offense to the grandparents not listed :)

Christmas Eve, Food, his Family, Jesus, School, his Brothers, Heavenly Father, Boy & the Blog (Wii game), and Church. He came up with these all on his own. I'm so proud of this kid.

Max's 15 month Check-Up

Max went in for his 15 month check up today. He weighed in at 19.03 lbs (.94th percentile, up from the .82nd percentile), and was 31.1 inches tall (51st percentile, down from 67th percentile). The poor baby had a double ear infection and given his many ear infections last winter, the doctor said that if this one doesn't clear up in a week or if he gets another one, we should get tubes in his ears. So now he is on antibiotics and hopefully will start feeling better. He's been fine during the day, but has had a few rough nights.

My Myles

Myles' aunt Kim took this picture and I thought it was cute. It is a rare occurance to catch him standing in one place.
